Samuels beansteaks

  1. Mash kidneybeans and chickpeas, keep some of the liquid from the kidneybeans.
  2. Mix eggs, spices and breadcrumbs, add the kidneybean liquid for juicier steaks.
  3. Don't make the steaks too thick, kind of like croquettes.
  4. Fry on high heat in butter (or oil/vegan butter) and lower the heat when the steaks have a crisp surface.
  5. Then, add any spices as you wish.
    Cumin is nice.
