Mentha

Mentha (or mint) is an invasive plant, so it may be wisest to separate it from other plants.
It is perfectly happy in a pot along with some water and partial shade.
You can easily make new sprouts by planting a root from a grown plant in new soil.
Once it starts to bloom, it is often too late to harvest it as the taste has started to disappear.
Harvest the mentha often by cutting off the tip of its branches to prevent it from blooming.
